One of the last things the prior President did before leaving office was fast-tracking the student loan forgiveness programs that were already in progress.
This didn't benefit me, but it might have benefitted you!
I would have loved to share the official Dept. of Education press releases that detail exactly who's eligible for each round of student loan forgiveness.
But as I write this on Monday 1/20, a few hours after inauguration, the DOE's news and press release section is completely empty.
Hopefully that's just a weird glitch, right?
Anyway, here's the link to the Dept of Education should they re-upload the key info by Sunday:
Fortunately, this nonprofit website lists EVERY SINGLE TYPE of student loan forgiveness that a borrower in the U.S. could be eligible for, with a link to the program:
