📣Community Announcement📣

  • Andreana

Have you ever had a good idea but terrible execution?

That's what happened to me when I tried to launch version 1 of the Working Phase Community.

The thing is, writing a newsletter for you, and sharing tools with you is fun for me!

And so is engaging with you live, in video, and with messages!

But developing a community, trying to make sure it has enough value for you, and juggling 50-eleven other responsibilities?

That 💩 is TOUGH.

It turns out, building COMMUNITY while trying to do all the tasks for it ALONE isn't smart.

Obvious? Sure. Boo me. I deserve it.

boo this (wo)man

I took a little break from community building, but I couldn't let it go. Why? The research!

The research findings consistently point to 4-5 core pillars of burnout prevention. Language varies, but support and community are always on the list.

If you're going to have a long, satisfying mental health career, and I'm going to point you in that direction, then there are a few non-negotiables we'll need to work on:

  • Job Autonomy

  • Strong Leadership

  • Reduced Primary and Secondary Trauma Exposures

  • Demonstrated Competence and Effectiveness

  • and Community

Community has a more robust connection to burnout prevention than money, job role, or your years of experience.

There's no getting away from the importance of fighting isolation, having peers who make you feel normal, and finding mentorship in this field.

So this time, let's reattempt this community solution, but together, yes?

Mental health professionals with a similar vision have already joined up, last count we had over 75 founding members on our prelaunch waitlist!

I hope you'll join us, too!
