Joy Intervention: Miss Uganda 2026

Becoming a mother has many challenges, but Miss Uganda honored the power in one aspect of the maternal journey, the C-Section.

Her dress is inspired by the layers of the body between the baby and the outside world, cut and then healing again after a C-section. 

It’s visceral and magical and, if you’ve had this procedure, it's a little overwhelming too.
